I'm starting to think that planning a wedding is going to be a bigger pain in the butt than I originally thought. We have next to no money to be able to pay for the things we're going to need.
I tried on my mom's dress last night that I'm going to wear, and apparently I'm a fat ass and have gained weight since the last time I tried it on. So not only do I have to get it tailored and cleaned, but now I have to lose weight. It's going to be tricky to know how much to have it tailored since I don't know how much I'll weigh in 9 months.
I have no clue how to go about doing the things I'm supposed to do. I still need to ask the other bridesmaids that I want to be in the wedding, then find a magical dress that will look good on all of them. We still haven't finalized a guest list or bought invitations, or even confirmed a location or date. But my grandma is already trying to buy flowers and stuff for the ceremony. She's driving my mother crazy and now my mom thinks she needs to pass the crazy burden down because she told my grandma to call me today. Damn her. It's bad enough that I hate the telephone, but now I have to talk to my grandma on it and answer questions about what I want for the wedding when I'm not even sure yet. Maybe we should just elope.

Found you on 20SB... first of all, I hate the phone too! I can totally relate! :)
ReplyDeleteSecond, your first step is to pick the venue, that'll help determine the date and number of guests. Then move along to the other details. Take it step by step or you'll go crazy!
